Leeu Estates

Leeu Estates in the Franschhoek valley combines luxury hospitality, landscaped gardens and South African art in a remarkably peaceful setting. Spread across 68 hectares of vineyards, indigenous fynbos and carefully designed gardens, the estate reflects the personal vision of owner Analjit Singh, whose passion for both gardening and art is visible throughout the property. The gardens, sometimes referred to as the “Leeuscapes,” have been meticulously planned to create calm, meditative spaces with sweeping views of the surrounding valley and mountains.

What makes the gardens especially distinctive is the impressive collection of South African sculpture displayed throughout the estate. Life-sized bronze works by artists including Angus Taylor, Deborah Bell, Dylan Lewis and Otto du Plessis are positioned among the lawns, pathways and vineyards, allowing visitors to experience art and nature together. Guided garden tours offer a relaxing way to explore the estate, ending with a traditional afternoon tea served with scones and jam.
