The Guga S’Thebe Arts Centre
The Guga S’Thebe Arts Centre is in the heart of Langa. Visitors are entertained by singing and dancing, and gumboot dancing. The centre consists of studio areas, a space for social gatherings, an amphitheatre with performances by local groups, a multipurpose auditorium, and an arts and crafts shop where you can find pottery items, beading collections, and fabric products, to name a few.
The township has many restaurants, parties, ethnic accommodations, and shops. The multi-colored ceramic mural-decorated building symbolises hope, empowerment, and freedom.
Entry is free however, some of the activities are charged for.
