Sandbaai Beach
Sandbaai Beach can be accessed via Piet Retief Crescent. The beach is spacious and not very crowded This is a good beach for Sunbathing Swimming Snorkelling, swimming, snorkelling, surfing, and Fishing. Many rock pools are great to explore and swim in. The water, however, is quite cold. Lifeguards are on duty in Summer, ablutions are available and there is lots of parking.
Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
