Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail
The Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail is is a 4.7 km out-and-back trail which is best done using a canoe, you can hire one from SANParks or Eden Adventures. Paddle upstream for about 3 km and then beach the canoes and proceed along the trail and boardwalk up to the waterfalls. The trail is fairly challenging and it takes just over 2 hours to complete.
This is a great spot for a swim in summer. Take drinking water and a picnic with you!
The trail begins on the west bank of the Touw River. It joins up with the Giant Kingfisher trail on the east bank of the Touw River where it leads to the waterfalls.
The trail is popular with walkers and runners, and you will likely meet other people on the trail
