The Museum of Childhood in Rondebosch is interactive. It is the first childhood museum in Africa. It provides an institution for the heritage, documentation, memory, oral history, research, and interpretation of childhood. A national collection of childhood-related exhibitions is displayed. The museum aims to capture the heritage of childhood and the role that children play in society.
