Wynberg Park
Local park
Wynberg Park is a popular spot throughout the year.  The Park is known for the Conifer Garden and in summer, you can see a spectacular array of Hydrangeas. Several braai and picnic spots and a duck pond, children’s Playground, the ‘Krakeelwater’ River’s Spring begins in this Park. Entry is free and there is lots of parking, but weekends are often busy. No alcohol is allowed, and you may light fires only in the designated braai spots
On the slope of the Park, there are the remains of a Silvertree; there were huge numbers, but there is only one left.
Wynberg Park is sometimes used for Fun Days and Live Concerts.
Opening hours
Summer from 08h00 to 19h00.
Winter from 08h00 to 18h00. And Entrance is Free.
