Voelklip Beach
Surfing spot in Hermanus
Voëlklip Beach is a great surfing beach. At Voëlklip, green lawns are leading down to the beach with some rocky coves nearby. The beach is popular during peak season in the summer holidays. There are some restaurants and cafes close by. Also, ablution facilities are available but parking is limited.
Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
