The original “Ducks” were built during WWII by the General Motors Corporation with the model name DUKW. Troops quickly started calling them ‘Ducks’, and the name stuck! After the war, many Ducks were adapted for tourism and civilian use.
Welcome to Africa’s first amphibious “duck” bus tour. The Waterfront Duck is a 30-seater amphibious vehicle, built to modern safety standards.
