The Montagu Nature Garden
Succulent garden
The Montagu Nature Garden was established to conserve a portion of the Little Karoo succulent biome and other plant communities endemic to the area. The garden contains flowers and plants of three Western Cape regions – Fynbos, Succulent Karoo and Renosterveld. The garden features a pretty dam with water lilies and a wooden bridge over it. Montagu Nature Garden is managed and maintained by the MNG Association (non-profit body) on behalf of the Langeberg Municipality.
The garden is open daily from 8:00 to 17:00. With a small entrance fee, tea and cake are available between 10:00 and 11:00 on Tuesday mornings between October and April..Â
