The Danie le Roux Museum in Bonnievale houses the personal art and memorabilia collection of Danie le Roux. The Le Roux family has farmed near Bonnievale since 1929, and Danie began collecting and displaying items on the family farm before moving the growing collection to a thatched-roof building in the town. Exhibits include artworks, books, semi-precious stones, dolls, fossils, concentration camp artefacts, church records, Voortrekker memorabilia and items from the horse-racing industry. The museum reflects the family’s commitment to preserving local and family heritage for future generations.
