SANCCOB is a non-profit organisation aimed at the preservation of seabirds and other sea life. It invites visitors in for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. Here you get to see the seabird hospital working. and see how the penguins are treated and fed. Founded in 1968, the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds has treated over 95,000 seabirds.

A coffee shop with stunning views of Rietvlei Nature Reserve and Table Mountain. The coffee shop supports SANCCOB’s mission to protect coastal birds.
