Protea farm tractor rides
The Protea farm tractor rides tour meanders its way up the Langeberg Mountain to an altitude of 1500m above sea level. From here, you will get a bird’s eye view of the Koo Valley and into the Robertson Valley below. Protea Farm is situated in the famous KOO Valley, 29km from Montagu.
It provides the perfect conditions for producing apples and pears. During this time, proteas also blossom. Protea Farm provides 4 self-catering cottages, an exquisite campsite and the very well-known tractor excursions. The tractor excursions were first run in 1985 and have become a very popular day out for visitors and locals. The whole family will enjoy this 3-hour ride. There is a halfway stop where a delicious snack is served, and at the end of the T Ride, lunch will be served.
Other activities include swimming on the farm and mountain biking.
