The Museum of the Great Trek commemorates the many Afrikaners who left the Cape in 1838 in search of land away from the stranglehold of English Colonial rule. The Voortrekkers took all their goods, including their furniture and horses, and cattle. There are interesting artefacts to see including ox wagons, household goods, and clothing.–
