Milnerton Lighthouse
Milnerton Lighthouse was commissioned on 10 March 1960. It consists of a 21-metre cylindrical white reinforced concrete tower. The tower supports a revolving white light of 800,000 candelas that flashes 3 white flashes every 20 seconds. This lighthouse functions in conjunction with Robben Island and Greenpoint lighthouses to assure identification as the city lights here merge with harbour navigational lights and could be confusing.
