Lookout hill
A view over Khayalitsha
Looout Hill is thebest vantage point to see the actual size of Khayelitsha. It overlooks the township, and there are spectacular views all the way up to Table Mountain and to the sea. It was constructed in 2004, and is a tourism facility that houses a function hall, restaurantwo amphitheaters, a boardwalk.t, and arts and crafts stalls. Â The 164-step high viewing deck provides a 360-degree view across the Cape Flats.
As of March 2026 the centre is somewhat neglected and its future is uncertain.
