Langbaai beach
Langbaai beach is another small sandy beach between two cliffs with paths leading to the next beach along the coast. It is accessed by steps cut into the rocky cliff just off 6th Avenue. Here, waves are forced into the narrow cove before spilling onto the beach. It is usually quiet and is known as the secret beach. It is nestled between the two rocky outcrops, which ensure relative protection from the wind. The water is a bit cold, but it is safe for swimming, surfing, paddling, and stand-up paddling. Parking, however, is limited.
Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
