Kalk Bay Theatre

Kalk Bay Theatre is housed in a neo-gothic style church that was built in 1876 right in the heart of Kalk Bay. It was a Dutch Reformed church that was closed as a place of worship in 1951. it is now painted a striking black and white with a red door Today it serves as the Kalk Bay Theatre with 78 seats. This is one of Cape Town’s favourite independent theatres which is run by the dynamic duo Vanessa Harris & Ash Searle.  They stage world-class crowd-pleasing entertainment. The space is eclectic & intimate, and they serve sensational food in the vibrant restaurant before the show..
