Gardens of Rustenberg Estate

The Gardens of Rustenberg estate include the public Schoongezicht Garden and the private Rustenberg Garden. The historical werf area is surrounded by several traditional Cape Dutch buildings, dating back to the 1800s. Cattle roam the fields along the roads grazing as natural lawnmowers. There are also several beehives scattered around the Estate and up into the foothills of the mountain. We have an avid passion for conservation, from our “wildflower garden” area, which hosts a multitude of fynbos and indigenous plant species to our lovely wild animals roaming free on the farm and all over the Simonsberg Mountain..
