Fernkloof nature reserve
Fernkloof Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in the Kleinrivier Mountains above Hermanus, Western Cape Province, South Africa. It is 1800ha in area and its altitude ranges from sea level to 842m. The reserve is home to a great number of fynbos species. over 1250 of them! In just 18 square kilometres, you’ll find 18% of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Animals include the grey rhebok and Cape grysbok, some baboons and occasionally Cape Mountain leopards.

There is a beautiful MTB trail to follow. You will ride mostly on a jeep track and a few single-track stretches. The terrain consists of rock, sand, some tarmac links and much Fynbos. There is also a beautiful spot for swimming in the rock pools, surrounded by nature and stunning views.
