Diaz beach
Diaz Beach is just next to Mossel Bay. From the beach, at night, you will have great views of Mossel Bay harbour. It is a good beach with soft sand and big waves. There are good amenities. Â The beach is popular for surfing and there is surfing equipment for hire. It is a safe, if modest, surfing beach and the beach is quiet and uncrowded.
Dogs may be walked between the estuary and Bayview.
Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
