Contermanskloof farm is tucked away in the heart of the Tygerberg (Durbanville) hills. It’s been in existence since 1706, and in the Starke family since the early 1900s. The vineyard was planted with bushvine Chenin Blanc in 1977 on decomposed blue slate and shale soils.
