Blindiana museum
Blindiana museum records the development of services for people with visual impairment since 1881. This is the year when “Instituut vir Doofstommen en Blinden” was founded. It was founded by a Dutch Reformed minister, Rev C. Rabie. identified the needs of a deaf boy. Several deaf and blind students were admitted. The museum displays the progress of academic and vocational training of deaf and blind students. There are displays demonstrating the development of braille, braille music, and therapeutic services..
, Kaleidoscope, the Blindiana Barista attached to the museum, opened its doors in 2016. It serves patrons the all-new Blindianna custom roast coffee blend and so much more.
