Victoria Bay Beach
Victoria Bay Beach is a safe, sheltered swimming beach. You can teach children to swim in the sheltered waters here. The shape of the headland around the cove protects the water from dangerous tidal currents. It is one of the safest places to swim in the Western Cape. The tidal pools behind the jetty are great for children to explore. The beach also has a consistent right-point break that runs for about 300 meters) into shore. Paddle out past the sheltered cove to reach the best waves. The waves here suit both beginners and experienced surfers.

It is also a great spot for seeing dolphins and whales which often venture quite close to the shore. Southern Right whales are regular visitors between June and November and  Humpback whales can be seen between May and December. It is a great family beach where there are rock pools to explore, a braai area, and a small café close by.
