The Valley of the Ferns picnic site, in a little valley in the forest, has quiet shaded picnic spots with wooden tables and benches, braai facilities, water and bush toilets.
The short 450m walk into the forest under giant tree ferns and across small trickling streams and moss meadows is like Eden itself. Be careful on the slippery roots and logs. !
