The Cape Flats Fynbos Nursery

The Cape Flats Fynbos Nursery was established in 2006 for the sole purpose of growing local lowland fynbos. This was to supply the Rondevlei Nature Reserve and its surrounds. It began as a partnership between the City of Cape Town Nature Conservation and Friends of Zeekoevlei and Rondevlei. The nursery was subsequently privatised and expanded. The wholesale nursery is now a core supplier of fynbos. Environmental projects, Friends groups, schools, urban greeners, landscapers and home gardeners can buy plants here. Also, urban revegetation projects use plants grown here. Cape Flats Fynbos Nursery retail sells to the public every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 am-4 pm, and every Sunday, 10 am-2 pm
