Stanfords Bay Beach
Stanford’s Cove at Stanford Bay beach is a protected little cove where swimming and fishing are popular. It is surrounded by a thick milkwood forest, and there is a large lawn which is great for sunbathing, picnics and ball sports. There are lots of rock pools along the beach. Ablutions with freshwater showers are available on the beach. There is a lot of parking, but limited cell phone reception.
Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
