Spark’s Bay Tidal Pool

Just past the coastal town of Gordon’s Bay is the Sparks Tidal Pool. It benefits from the facilities nearby. For example, Spark’s Bay Day Camp.

Spark’s Bay is one of the largest and most exposed tidal pools on the coastline, it is a great swimming spot with a gentle slope, and it’s large enough for a few laps. Be aware of the risk of sea urchins on the wall and bottom; protective shoes are recommended.  

It is also one of the best braai spots. The beach has ample parking, disability access, and ablution facilities.
