The Table Bay Nature Reserve has 7 parts: Rietvlei Wetlands, Milnerton Lagoon, Milnerton Beach, Milnerton Racecourse, Zoarvlei Wetlands, Diep River, and the Parklands Fynbos Corridor. There are permanent and seasonal wetlands and Cape Flats sand fynbos vegetation..

It covers about 880 hectares of diverse habitats ranging from riverine floodplains, permanent and seasonal wetlands, open pans, a tidal estuary and coastal dunes.

Main entrance is at the southern end of Grey Avenue, Table View (Rietvlei Section)
