Lake Pleasant Resort is a peaceful, well-shaded space situated halfway between Wilderness and Knysna. It is on the shores of the Garden Route’s only freshwater lake, Groenvlei. Groenvlei is a part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and also part of the Knysna & Wilderness National Lakes Area. The Nature Reserve, on the Resort’s eastern boundary, is over 2000 hectares or 8 square km in extent.
