Gordon’s Bay Main Beach

Gordon’s Bay Main Beach is the biggest along this piece of coast. The beach is popular, and it gets full in December and early January. There are no big waves because of offshore reefs, and the sea is shallow, so it is quite safe for children.

Part of the Main Beach in front of the caravan park is suitable for walking your dog. The rest of the beach is not ideal for animals. There is a lot of parking. Between the parking and the sandy stretch of the beach is a lawn where visitors can relax and enjoy a picnic or just watch people go by.

Shells can often be found on this beach, especially after winter storms and low tide. If you plan to collect shells, please follow local regulations and take only empty shells. Shell identification guide
